We’d love for you to join us. We at TST are devoted to following Jesus.

If you are looking for the perfect church, you will be disappointed to know that you are on the wrong website. We are a church on a journey to be more and more like Jesus – a community of imperfect people just like anyone else, but who have found God’s forgiveness with all kinds of stories of faith imaginable. We know with certainty that we need Jesus’ help on a daily basis on that journey. No matter what you’ve been through or what questions you might have, our benefice is a place where you’ll find the grace, mercy and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.

In our worship style some of us prefer “traditional”, some like “contemporary” and others like a bit of both, so there is variety. In all our services God’s word, the Bible, is emphasised. We are compelled by God’s love to continue the TST benefice which has had a worshipping community since at least the 13th century. We are enriched by the heritage and the inheritance the ancients of Totternhoe, Stanbridge and Tilsworth have left us in our buildings.

We belong to the Church of England (CofE), which is deeply rooted in the Bible and accepts it as God’s word with authority over our lives. We are only a small part of the one, holy, global Church – which started on the day of Pentecost fifty days after Jesus was crucified in AD 30, worshipping the one true God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Here in our villages, we continue our small part of that global movement, aiming to proclaim afresh the grace and truth of Jesus to our own generation.

Our prayer is that whilst we proclaim this news, we will be sensitive to God’s Holy Spirit seeking His direction. It is the best news! Jesus died and rose again for us! Join us!
